While we're pretty much aware of what all the basketball brands haved lined up for the 2011-2012 season, things have been quiet on the Converse front. It won't stay that way for long, as the brand is preparing to launch two new basketball silhouettes this November. In additon to a revamped version of the Pro Leather, Converse High Top on Sale will drop the DEFCON, pictured here in two Player Exclusive colorways made for Philadelphia 76ers guard Lou Williams. The DEFCON is a lightweight performance sneaker that utilizes Converse's ConTain Fit Technology in a single integrated piece with a direct-inject EVA foam cage. Other tech features include an EVA foam strobel board beneath the sockliner, Converse Balls cushioning, a ghillie lacing system, 3D molded TPU counter, anatomical collar and a forefoot outrigger to sustain balance.

Streetwear brand XLARGE is teaming up with Converse High Top UK Clearance Japan this Spring 2015 to bring you the XLARGE x Converse Japan Pro Leather Canvas Ox Collab. The Pro Leather Canvas Ox, originally an old school basketball shoe, w ill be made into a street savvy low top. Opting for a canvas upper instead of the usual leather upper, it is apparent that the collab intends to make the shoe more street appealing. The collab opted to keep the rubber midsole along with the Converse signature star to give it that perfect blend of street appeal without losing its Converse roots.

After a bunch of UNDFTD collaborations, the Converse High Top Pink Order is ready with a couple of new in-house drops. These Star Player Hi Shearlings are equipped with fuzzy inner linings to keep your feet warm and comfy this season. Both are done with tonal suede uppers atop all white soles, which gives grey and black colorways a very clean look.

The Converse High Top Blue Purchase has to be at least a little bit jealous at all the attention the Pro Leather is getting during the second half of 2012, so here’s a couple of new colorways that steal the ‘other’ silo’s namesake material. This new Chocolate and black Star Player Premium Leather is a Converse.com exclusive, an earthy build whose organic appeal is greatly aided by the upper’s grainy texture.

They don’t have a star player like Dwyane Wade on the roster anymore, but Converse High Top Discount new MVP midtop has some serious performance credentials. And actually, the One Star does indeed have a veteran Star Player of a different sort. So even if it’s not a cutting edge performance tech machine, there’s always room for the comfort conferred by LunarLon cushioning. These new Converse First String Star Player lowtops offer different takes on Chicago-ish palettes, the white pair of which is a dead ringer to the immortal red-foxed white Chuck Taylor.
